Snorkel the underwater wonders of the Great Astrolabe Reef. Snorkel directly off the beach on Kokomo’s East Beach or journey by speedboat to the outer reef. Teeming with life, our reefs are home to turtles, reef sharks, manta rays, dolphins and an endless array of fish and corals.

Lessons are available daily and all snorkelling and diving excursions are professionally guided.

Dive and discover the underwater wonders of the world’s fourth largest reef, on an unparalleled underwater adventure. Extending for over 100km (62 miles), the Great Astrolabe Reef is the ultimate playground for dive enthusiasts. Located on the north east of the Kadavu group of islands, Kokomo offers exclusivity to dive sites that are not frequented by other resorts. Come face to face with manta rays, reef sharks, turtles and more as you explore our underwater world.

Fishing

A short distance from Kokomo is some of the most fertile and untouched waters within Fiji. Ideally positioned within proximity to the unspoilt and thriving Great Astrolabe Reef, Kokomo offers varied, unrivalled, and world-class fishing opportunities.

The waters around Kokomo contain a rich variety of pelagic and demersal species, from mackerel to marlin, wahoo and sailfish. To experience the thrills of big game or sport fishing, you need only venture a little further from the resort to the outer reefs, where large schools of tuna cloud the top of untouched seamounts and blue marlin cruise the deep water off the edge.

A selection of non motorised and motorised watersports are available - all equipment provided.

Kayaking

Wake up with the sun on a guided kayak tour. Our tranquil waters are home to curious sea turtles, most active in the early morning. Enjoy the beautiful corals as you paddle above Kokomo’s house reef or circumnavigate the island on a 90-minute kayak adventure.

Private boat & superyacht charter

Explore the waters surrounding Kokomo on a full or half-day private boat charter. Sit back and relax as our experienced crew take care of the details. Take the opportunity to snorkel or dive in the Great Astrolabe Reef, drop anchor at an uninhabited private island, or spend your day casting lines off the side of our high performance vessels.

Immerse yourself in Fijian traditions and harness new skills whilst learning about their origins. Join Kokomo’s experiences team for an afternoon of weaving, carving, jewellery making or sarong (sulu) styling. Learn about the importance of coconut trees, the symbol of life in Fiji, or practice the basics of the Fijian language.
